Most unusual recipes

We all have unusual recipes that we enjoy and maybe would like to share, or might think it is too unusual to share, but who knows, it might just interest someone else.

I too have an unusual recipe I would like to share.....well it is not mine really, it was actually a national dish belonging to a high school which is in the parish of St. Elizabeth in Jamaica. It is located in the cool hills of Malvern district called Munro College, which is my husband's Alma mater. The name of that dish is corned beef soup (more popular known to them as bully beef soup). When he first told me about it I find it so funny and unbelievable. I imagined what it would taste like so he promised to prepare it for me one day.

If you are wondering how this corned beef soup came about? I will certainly tell you their secret. Well, he told me that this recipe was prepared more amongst the students that board on the school campus. It was a quick and easy recipe to prepare in addition to the meals that they had already gotten and were not completely full.

.....and the most romantic part, my husband made it as a special dish for me after our wedding as one his gifts to me, and trust me it was delicious. So I am most privileged to share it with you.
